Meet Our Staff

CJ
Queen of Advantage

CJ

CJ (Carol Jr.) is the queen of Advantage. She arrived in 2013 as an injured stray under the care of one of our wonderful clients. As she slowly recovered, the office fell in love with her, and she became a permanent office cat. Her favorite activities are snuggling in warm laundry, eating, and sticking her butt in your face while you’re working.

Archer
Annoying Younger Brother

Archer

Archer is our youngest office cat who arrived here in 2016 as a feral kitten. He quickly grew to love people and the food they bring him. He can be found lounging on top of the receptionists’ monitors waiting for attention. When he isn’t up front, his favorite activities include napping, rolling treats around on the floor, and playing the annoying younger brother to CJ and Kirka.

Kirka
Beautiful Diva

Kirka

Kirka is our newest and oldest office cat who joined us in 2017 after her owner passed away. She has hyperthyroidism, loves one-on-one attention, and eats her weight in Friskie’s cat treats. Her favorite activities include napping on top of the dog kennels, napping on her heating pad, and shooing Archer away from her napping places. Kirka is a beautiful diva who is not afraid to tell you what she wants.

Jamie

Jamie, RVT, has been a veterinary technician for 17 years, and with Advantage since we opened in 2008.  I’m lucky to have found my passion in life, and get to live it every day! I love all aspects of caring for your pets. My passion is dentistry, though. I enjoy the technical and physical challenge it presents as well as educating clients on its impact on overall animal health.

When I’m not here, I’m with my two kids - Lia and Luke. We’ve got 3 amazing dogs: Kylo, a dachshund that I rescued; Kona, a poodle schnauzer mix; and Stan, one of the most endearing beagles you’ll ever meet! We also have two cats - an orange tabby named Bilbo, and a fierce and feisty all-black male named Frodo. We also have a native Missouri turtle named Princess, who happens to be Frodo’s main obsession!

In our freetime, we love to camp and hike. We also Geocache and play our fair share of Pokemon Go!
