- Heather Schatz, DVM
Dr. Heather Schatz is a native of Fenton, Missouri. She studied Animal Sciences at the University of Missouri–Columbia prior to veterinary school. A love of all four-legged animals, a strong interest in science, and a desire to care for the helpless led Dr. Schatz to study veterinary medicine. After receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine, she spent three years in mixed animal private practice in Jefferson County. In 2008, Dr. Schatz’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked in and she opened Advantage Veterinary Center.
When not at work, she enjoys horseback riding, game nights with family and friends, going to the Fox Theatre and the Muny Opera, running and Elvis impersonators.
Dr. Schatz lives with her husband Craig, three dogs, two horses, and three barn cats. A two- legged family member is on the way.
